Summary

CVE-2024-6261 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 3.6.0, stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the plugin's 'FinalTilesGallery' shortcode. Authenticated attackers, including those with contributor-level access and above, can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, posing a significant security risk.
