CVE-2024-6225 is a vulnerability that affects the Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, leading to stored cross-site scripting. The affected versions include all versions up to and including 1.1.5 (and 7.5.1 for the Pro version). To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update the plugin to the latest version available. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in the ability of attackers to execute malicious scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page, which could compromise the security and integrity of an organization's website.
