Summary
CVE-2024-6207 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that affects Rockwell Automation devices. Hackers can exploit this flaw by sending a maliciously crafted Control and Information Protocol (CIP) message to the device. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to block access for legitimate users and disrupt connections to connected devices, including workstations. Recovery requires a controller download that halts ongoing processes.
