Summary

CVE-2024-5721 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting the Logsign Unified SecOps Platform. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected systems. The flaw is located in the cluster HTTP API, whichlistens on TCP port 1924 when enabled. The vulnerability arises from insufficient authentication checks, enabling attackers to bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to the platform's functionality. The exploitation of this vulnerability results in the execution of code with root privileges.
