Summary

CVE-2024-57069 is a prototype pollution vulnerability affecting the lib function in expand-object version 0.4.2. Maliciously crafted inputs can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by corrupting the prototype chain, leading to memory exhaustion or unintended function calls, potentially crashing the application or consuming significant system resources.
