Summary
CVE-2024-56785: A vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel on Loongson64 systems has been addressed. The issue involved PCIe port nodes for ls7a in the device tree source files, resulting in warnings related to interrupt and address cells. These warnings could potentially lead to system instability. A commit introduced in 2021, 045b14ca5c36, introduced a new warning that exacerbated the problem. The fix for this issue is similar to a previous commit, d89a415ff8d5, which resolved a similar issue for ls2k.
