Summary
CVE-2024-56742 is a vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel. It involves an unwind issue in the function mlx5vf_add_migration_pages(). If a set of pages fails to be added to the SG table, they must be promptly freed to prevent a memory leak. Successfully added pages will be dealt with in mlx5vf_free_data_buffer(). This issue has been resolved.
