Summary

CVE-2024-54772 is a vulnerability affecting the Winbox service in MikroTik RouterOS versions 6.43.13 to 6.49.13 (long-term) and 6.43 to 7.17.2 (stable). This issue allows attackers to enumerate for valid usernames through a discrepancy in response sizes when making connection attempts with valid and invalid usernames. A patch is available in RouterOS v6.49.18.
