Summary

CVE-2024-54674 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 2.5.2 and below of the app/View/GalaxyClusters/cluster_export_misp_galaxy.ctp file in the MISP (Malware Information Sharing Platform) software. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into custom clusters exported in the misp-galaxy format. Successful exploitation could lead to the execution of arbitrary code in the context of the victim's browser, potentially resulting in data theft or unauthorized access. Users are advised to upgrade to a patched version of MISP as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
