CVE-2024-54501 is a recently identified vulnerability that could lead to a denial of service (DoS) if a user processes a maliciously crafted file. The issue has been addressed with improved checks in iPadOS 17.7.3, watchOS 11.2, visionOS 2.2, tvOS 18.2, macOS Sequoia 15.2, iOS 18.2, and iPadOS 18.2, as well as macOS Ventura 13.7.2 and macOS Sonoma 14.7.2.
