Summary
CVE-2024-54434 is a newly disclosed vulnerability that impacts the phZoom component of Phoetry, a poetry search engine. This issue combines two serious threats: Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). The CSRF vulnerability can be exploited to force a user into performing unwanted actions on a web application, while the Stored XSS can be used to inject malicious scripts into web pages, potentially leading to data theft or website defacement.
