Summary

CVE-2024-54417 is a Missing Authorization vulnerability affecting PixProof, an image proofing solution. The flaw allows unauthorized access to functionality not properly constrained by Access Control Lists (ACLs). This issue can potentially enable unauthorized users to perform actions they should not be able to, such as modifying or deleting images, in PixProof versions from n/a up to and including 2.0.1. Organizations using this software are advised to apply the necessary patches or upgrades as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
