Details
Summary
CVE-2024-54415 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the WP-HideThat plugin, specifically versions from n/a to 1.2. This issue combines two threats: Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and Stored XSS. The CSRF weakness allows an attacker to force a user into performing unintended actions on a web application, while the Stored XSS component enables the attacker to inject malicious scripts into the webpage that persist even after the user leaves the site. A successful exploit could lead to unauthorized data manipulation, unauthorized access, or the disclosure of sensitive information. Users are advised to update WP-HideThat to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
