CVE-2024-54090 is a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting various models of APOGEE PXC Series (BACnet) and TALON TC Series (BACnet) devices, including those with Ethernet interfaces. The issue resides in an out-of-bounds read vulnerability within the memory dump function. An attacker with Medium or higher privileges can exploit this flaw, leading the device into an insecure cold start state. This state could potentially expose sensitive information or enable unauthorized access to the device's functionality.
