Summary

CVE-2024-54049 is a newly discovered Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Connect versions 12.6 and 11.4.7, as well as older releases. Malicious actors can exploit this issue by persuading victims to visit a specially crafted URL. If successful, the attacker's malicious JavaScript code will run in the victim's browser, potentially leading to data theft, session hijacking, or other forms of unauthorized access. Users are strongly advised to update their Adobe Connect software to the latest version to mitigate the risk of this vulnerability.
