Summary
CVE-2024-54045 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Connect versions 12.6 and 11.4.7, and possibly older releases. This issue enables an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into a victim's browser, by tricking them into visiting a specially crafted URL. The exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to information disclosure, session hijacking, or other unintended actions. Users are advised to update their Adobe Connect installations as soon as possible, or follow Adobe's recommended mitigations until a patch is released.
