Summary

CVE-2024-54042 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Connect versions 12.6 and 11.4.7 and older. This issue allows attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code into a victim's browser if they can persuade the victim to visit a specially crafted URL linked to a vulnerable page. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized access to user data or sessions, and potential further compromise of the affected system.
