CVE-2024-54001

Summary

CVE-2024-54001 is a vulnerability affecting Kanboard, a project management software based on the Kanban methodology. Maliciously crafted HTML code can be injected and stored in the application settings section, specifically in the fields of application_language, application_date_format, application_timezone, and application_time_format. This issue can result in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks if the user input includes JavaScript code that bypasses Content Security Policy (CSP). The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.2.41 of Kanboard.
