CVE-2024-53941

Summary

CVE-2024-53941 is a vulnerability affecting Victure RX1800 WiFi 6 Routers with software EN_V1.0.0_r12_110933 and hardware version 1.0. A remote attacker within range of the Wi-Fi network can exploit this issue and obtain the default Wi-Fi PSK value by analyzing the last 4 octets of the BSSID. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, as the Wi-Fi PSK is required to gain unauthorized access to the network. Users are strongly advised to update their router software and change their default Wi-Fi PSK to mitigate this issue.
