Summary
CVE-2024-53046: A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's imx8ulp driver has been addressed. The issue involved an incorrect flexible flash interface (FlexSPI) compatible string, leading to a warning and potential failure when using a device with only 16 lookup tables (LUTs), while the imx8mm FlexSPI has 32 LUTs. This mismatch caused an error during device initialization, as indicated in the system log.
