CVE-2024-52574

Summary

CVE-2024-52574 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Teamcenter Visualization (V14.2, V14.3, V2312, V2406), and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation (V2302, V2404). These applications contain a flaw that results in an out-of-bounds read issue while processing maliciously crafted WRL files. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-24543) This issue poses a serious risk, and users of the affected applications are advised to upgrade to the latest patched versions immediately.
