Summary
CVE-2024-52493 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Meteor Slides, a JavaScript library used for creating slideshows. The flaw, named "Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation," enables attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages generated by the slideshow component. This stored XSS issue can be exploited to steal user data or take control of user sessions. Versions of Meteor Slides from n/a through 1.5.7 are reportedly impacted by this vulnerability.
