Summary

CVE-2024-5226 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Fuse Social Floating Sidebar plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 5.4.10 are impacted by this issue. The flaw lies in the plugin's file upload functionality, which fails to adequately validate SVG files. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or above to inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts will execute each time a user visits an injected page.
