Summary
CVE-2024-51842 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Sazzad Hu Image Carousel Shortcode. The issue stems from improper neutralization of user input during the web page generation process. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a victim's browser, gaining unauthorized access to their data or taking control of their session. This issue impacts all versions of the Image Carousel Shortcode from 1.0 through 1.2.
