Summary
CVE-2024-51653 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability discovered in Mario Spinaci's UPDATE NOTIFICATIONS. This issue permits Stored XSS attacks, allowing malicious actors to inject and execute malicious code in a user's browser after they have been tricked into making a request to an affected page. The vulnerability impacts UPDATE NOTIFICATIONS versions from n/a to 0.3.4. Users are advised to upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
