Summary

CVE-2024-51503 is a vulnerability affecting the Trend Micro Deep Security 20 Agent. An attacker can exploit this security agent's manual scan command injection flaw to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code on a targeted machine, given they have already gained the ability to run low-privileged code locally. In a domain environment, attackers with domain user privileges may remotely inject commands to other machines in the same domain. This issue poses a significant threat, particularly in enterprise settings where network access control may not be as stringent.
