Summary
CVE-2024-51495 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting LibreNMS, an open-source network monitoring system. Authenticated users can exploit this issue by injecting malicious JavaScript code through the "overwrite_ip" parameter when editing a device on the Device Overview page. The execution of this code occurs when the device overview page is visited, posing a threat to other users' accounts. This vulnerability has been resolved in the 24.10.0 version of LibreNMS.
