Summary

CVE-2024-51490 is a vulnerability affecting Ampache, a popular web-based audio/video streaming application. In the interface section of the Ampache menu, which allows users to customize their logo with a "Custom URL - Logo" feature, input is not properly sanitized. This opens the door for attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code. Affected users are advised to upgrade to version 7.0.1 to mitigate this risk as there are currently no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
