Summary

CVE-2024-50656: The itsourcecode Placement Management System version 1.0 contains a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into the Full Name field during the registration process in registration.php. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to steal user data or take control of user sessions. System administrators are advised to update the software to the latest version or implement appropriate input validation and output encoding to mitigate this risk.
