Summary
CVE-2024-50599 is a newly identified reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) version 8.8.15. This issue is linked to one of the webmail calendar endpoints, which fails to adequately sanitize user-supplied input. As a result, attackers can inject malicious code that gets reflected back in the HTML response, posing a significant risk to unsuspecting users. The vulnerability could lead to data theft, session hijacking, and potentially more serious consequences.
