CVE-2024-50357

Summary

CVE-2024-50357 is a vulnerability affecting Century Systems Co., Ltd.'s FutureNet NXR series routers. Although REST-APIs are initially disabled in the factory default configuration, they unexpectedly become enabled upon product power-up when http-server (GUI) or Web authentication is enabled. With the factory default configuration making http-server enabled, REST-APIs are consequently activated. The vulnerability exposes the affected product's settings to potential attackers, who can obtain and manipulate them through the unsecured REST-APIs using the default username and password.
