Summary
CVE-2024-50305 is a vulnerability affecting Apache Traffic Server versions 9.2.0 through 9.2.5. A maliciously crafted Host header field can cause the server to crash on some platforms, posing a potential denial-of-service risk. To mitigate this issue, users are advised to upgrade to Apache Traffic Server version 9.2.6 or 10.0.2, which addresses the vulnerability in the former or does not exhibit the problem in the latter.
