Summary

CVE-2024-50093: A vulnerability has been identified and resolved in the Linux kernel's thermal driver for Intel processors. The driver contains unnecessary calls to pci_disable_device(), which causes a warning during module unload. With recent PCI device resource management improvements, these redundant disable calls expose this issue and trigger the warning message. To mitigate this, the excess pci_disable_device() calls must be removed.
