Summary

CVE-2024-49532 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 24.005.20307, 24.001.30213, 24.001.30193, 20.005.30730, and 20.005.30710, and possibly older ones. An out-of-bounds read issue exists, enabling an attacker to access sensitive memory content. This vulnerability permits bypassing Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) mitigations, increasing the risk of exploitation. User interaction is necessary for an attack to occur, as the victim needs to open a maliciously crafted file.
