Summary

CVE-2024-49510 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Adobe InDesign Desktop versions ID18.5.3 and ID19.5 and older. This issue represents an out-of-bounds read vulnerability, which allows an attacker to access sensitive memory content. By exploiting this weakness, an adversary may bypass important security mitigations like Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). To successfully attack a target, the user must open a specially crafted malicious file.
