Summary
CVE-2024-49016 is a newly disclosed SQL Server Native Client vulnerability that allows remote code execution. Attackers can exploit this weakness by sending specially crafted packets to the SQL Server, which can result in the execution of arbitrary code on the vulnerable system. Successful exploitation can lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or even system compromise.
