Summary
CVE-2024-47941 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting all versions of Solid Edge SE2024 prior to V224.0 Update 9. This issue stems from an out-of-bounds read vulnerability found in the affected applications. The weakness lies in the way PAR files are parsed, which enables an attacker to read memory beyond the allocated structure. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker can gain the ability to execute code in the context of the current process.
