Summary
CVE-2024-47810 is a use-after-free vulnerability discovered in Foxit Reader 2024.3.0.26795. The flaw arises from the software's handling of a 3D page object in PDF documents. A maliciously crafted Javascript code within a manipulated PDF file can trigger this vulnerability, resulting in memory corruption and potential arbitrary code execution. For an attack to occur, the user must open the malicious file. Additionally, an attacker can potentially exploit this vulnerability by luring a user to a specially designed, malicious website, provided the browser plugin extension is enabled.
