CVE-2024-47775 is a vulnerability affecting the GStreamer library's parse_ds64 function in gstwavparse.c. This function fails to check the buffer's size before performing multiple GST_READ_UINT32_LE operations, leading to an out-of-bounds (OOB) read. Consequences of this vulnerability include potential crashes (denial of service) or the exposure of sensitive data. The issue is resolved in version 1.24.10.
