Summary

CVE-2024-47772 is a vulnerability affecting Discourse, an open-source community discussion platform. Malicious chat messages can be crafted to execute arbitrary JavaScript on users' browsers when they reply to the message. This issue is resolved in the latest Discourse version, and all users are recommended to upgrade as soon as possible. For those unable to upgrade, enabling Content Security Policy (CSP) is an effective workaround to mitigate the risk.
