Summary

CVE-2024-47044 is a vulnerability affecting certain Home GateWay/Hikari Denwa routers provided by NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE EAST CORPORATION. The issue lies in insufficient access restrictions for Device Setting pages, which could allow an attacker, who has identified the WAN-side IPv6 address, to access the product's Device Setting page via the WAN-side. This vulnerability only impacts routers used in NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE EAST CORPORATION areas, and similar products provided by NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE WEST CORPORATION are not affected.
