Summary
CVE-2024-46826 is a vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel that has been addressed. The ELF (Executable and Linkable Format) loader was found to be using the "randomize_va_space" parameter twice. Since this parameter is a sysctl value that can change at any moment, two loads could potentially result in unpredictable consequences due to seeing different values. To mitigate this issue, only one load is now recommended for consistency across executions.
