Summary
CVE-2024-46809 is a vulnerability affects the Linux kernel. In the drm/amd/display driver, BIOS images were being used without proper validation checks. This issue could lead to null checks failing, resulting in BIOS images not loading correctly. The vulnerability has been addressed with the addition of necessary checks before using BIOS images. This fix resolves six identified NULL_RETURN issues reported by Coverity.
