Summary

CVE-2024-46612 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting IceCMS version 3.4.7 and older. The weakness lies in the use of a hardcoded JSON Web Token (JWT) key, which enables an attacker to generate false JWT authentication data. This allows unauthorized access to protected areas of the application, compromising the security of affected IceCMS installations. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to bypass authentication checks and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or administrative functionalities.
