Summary
CVE-2024-46226 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting HelpDeskZ versions prior to 2.0.2. This weakness enables remote attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code into the administration panel. The attacker can exploit this by uploading a maliciously named file during the creation of a new ticket. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or further compromise of the system. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of HelpDeskZ to mitigate this risk.
