CVE-2024-46073

Summary

CVE-2024-46073 is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting IceHRM v32.4.0.OS login page. The flaw arises due to insufficient sanitization of the "next" parameter in the application's response. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious URL, which, when visited by an unsuspecting user, executes arbitrary JavaScript code within the user's browser. Remarkably, this issue exists despite the presence of sanitization mechanisms in the application.
