Summary
CVE-2024-45827 is a critical OS Command Injection vulnerability affecting the firmware version v1.0.2 and earlier of the Mesh Wi-Fi router RP562B. An attacker who is authenticated on the network can exploit this vulnerability by improperly neutralizing special elements in an operating system command. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands, potentially leading to significant security risks and unauthorized network access. Users are strongly advised to update their router firmware to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.
