Summary
CVE-2024-45662 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting IBM Safer Payments versions 6.4.0.00 through 6.4.2.07, 6.5.0.00 through 6.5.0.05, and 6.6.0.00 through 6.6.0.03. This issue enables a remote attacker to trigger a denial of service by exploiting improper resource allocation. By sending specially crafted requests, an attacker can cause the targeted system to consume excessive resources, leading to a service outage. IBM urges users to install the available patches to mitigate this vulnerability.
