CVE-2024-45465

Summary

CVE-2024-45465 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting various versions of Teamcenter Visualization (V14.2, V14.3, and V2312) and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation (V2302 and V2404). These applications contain a flaw that allows an out-of-bounds read, enabling an attacker to parse specially crafted WRL files and potentially execute code in the context of the current process. The affected versions are all those prior to V14.2.0.14, V14.3.0.12, V2312.0008, V2302.0016, and V2404.0005. This issue poses a serious risk to affected organizations and requires immediate patching to mitigate it.
