CVE-2024-45292 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the `\\PhpOffice\\PhpSpreadsheet\\Writer\\Html` component of PHPSpreadsheet, a popular PHP library for handling spreadsheet files. The issue lies in the lack of sanitization for "javascript:" URLs in hyperlink `href` attributes, enabling attackers to inject malicious scripts into users' web browsers.
